Description

A photographic C-type print reverse-mounted to acrylic, hand-signed, limited edition by Timothy Langton.

A weathered brick wall carries the stonemason’s mark CWR 1899, later scratched with PUNK 1980, two acts of authorship, a century apart. A vividly coloured punk woman, superimposed like a sticker on the surface, bursts onto the wall, collapsing time and energy into a single, unforgettable image. Tradition and defiance meet, and the city's memory is raw and alive in this piece of urban photographic art.

This C-type print on Fuji Crystal Archive Matt 231gsm paper is reverse mounted to UV-resistant Perspex cast acrylic glass, with an aluminium dibond back, and incorporates a hidden subframe hanging system, floating the artwork away from the wall. Ready to hang.
