Simon Lee Robson’s Neon Ancestors, developed in creative collaboration with Arte Delux, reimagines the silent skulls of prehuman history as luminous icons of the present.

Each work fuses the raw, primordial forms of our earliest ancestors with the charged intensity of contemporary pop aesthetics, collapsing millions of years of evolution into a single, radiant encounter.

Visual lineage

Building upon the visual language established in Ancestor Origins, the collection presents a reinterpretation through a vivid spectrum of colour and light, transforming the monochrome foundations into luminous contemporary icons. Each hand-signed limited edition is meticulously calibrated in colour, light and presence, extending the visual lineage from bone to signal, from relic to icon.

These portraits do not memorialise the past; they activate it. Ancient forms are reawakened as beacons, asking us to confront the origins of humanity through a lens that is at once contemporary, electric, and unmistakably alive.
