Description

A giclée on aluminium dibond, limited edition artwork by Yanyi He.

Presented in a lustre finish, and incorporates a hidden subframe hanging system, floating the artwork away from the wall.

A signed certificate from the artist accompanies each numbered edition.

In this vivid and immersive deep-space collection, Interstellar Dreams | 2025, Yanyi He invites us to peer into luminous windows of the unknown, where interstellar clouds and celestial forms swell across the void.

Yanyi's works evoke the grandeur of nebulae, the delicate swirls of cosmic dust, and the boundless mystery of galactic space. These dreamlike compositions are at once intimate and expansive, meditations on the beauty, scale, and wonder of the universe. Among them, a single striking image departs from abstraction: an astronaut, standing alone on an alien moon, gazes up at a vast gaseous planet, a moment of stillness and awe that grounds the celestial in the human

Part of a broader category of experimental photography and camera-based mixed media art, this technique blends spontaneous material interactions with the precision of photographic framing. Yanyin’s process involves a carefully curated combination of pigment, colour ink, drikold (dry ice), and an alchemy of reactive materials, all delicately layered on glass plates. These materials interact, react, and bloom into otherworldly patterns under controlled conditions. The resulting images are not digital fabrications, but photographic captures of real, ephemeral performances, liquid and light caught in cosmic motion.

Now available to collectors in limited release, Interstellar Dreams | 2025 offers a rare and immersive glimpse into the celestial unknown.
